Lesson 7- First Nations Australians and Soil
In this lesson, you will learn about First Nations Australians’ past, present and future use of fire to care for Country and manage the land.
You will learn about the influence of fire on Australian native plants and design and conduct an experiment to test the effect of one aspect of fire on the germination of native seeds.
You will also examine the sustainable farming of the Murnong as a case study of producing First Nations Australians’ food.
